Daibudō Kodenkan Matsuno Kenshūkai is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and secure training environment. Below are our current policies for members, instructors, and volunteers. These guidelines are in place to protect our community and ensure a positive training experience for everyone.
Fingerprinting and Background Check Policy
At Daibudō Kodenkan Matsuno Kenshūkai, the safety and well-being of our members, especially children and vulnerable individuals, are our highest priority. To maintain a safe and respectful training environment, we require all instructors, assistant instructors, and volunteers who work with minors to undergo fingerprint-based background checks.
Who is Required to Complete a Background Check?
- All instructors and assistant instructors
- Volunteers working directly with minors or vulnerable populations
- Staff members involved in youth programs
Purpose of the Background Check
Fingerprint-based background checks help us verify the identity and criminal history of our staff, ensuring that our members are in a safe environment. These checks provide a thorough review through state and federal databases.
Frequency of Background Checks
Background checks must be completed upon initial hire or volunteer onboarding and every two years thereafter to maintain active status.
Cost and Process
The cost of the fingerprinting process may be covered by the organization or the individual, depending on the role and specific program requirements. We will provide instructions on where and how to complete the fingerprinting process during the onboarding process.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Daibudō Kodenkan Matsuno Kenshūkai is committed to protecting the privacy of our members and staff. All fingerprint and background check results are handled confidentially and securely.
